Dr Ado Jimada Gana Muhammad
Executive Director National Primary Health Care Development Agency
Dr. Ado Jimada Gana Muhammad was appointed Executive Director/CEO of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) on 1 November 2011. Prior to his Appointment, Dr Ado served as a Special Assistant in the State House, Abuja.
Dr. Ado J.G. Muhammad comes to the NPHCDA with over 20 years’ experience in the health and public service sectors, having held numerous positions of high profile senior leadership.
He has been Senior Technical Adviser (Health Sector) in the Office of the Senior Assistant to the President on Millennium Development Goals. He was National Health Adviser for the Bamako Initiative Programme, part of the Petroleum Trust Fund. And prior to its merger with the NPHCDA in 2007, Dr. Ado Muhammad was Staff of the National Programme on Immunization (NPI).
Dr. Ado J.G. Muhammad is a graduate of the School of Medicine, University of Ilorin Nigeria, with a Masters in Public Health from University of Wales, United Kingdom.
He is happily married with children.
